On April 16th over 50 of the Cureton Elementary students participated in Art Splash at Montalvo Arts Center. At this student showcase the students not only celebrated an installation of their textiles, but also, spent the day teaching the public the radial pattern exercise on velum paper. The Cureton 5th graders taught both adults and children.

Cureton Elementary students will fill out banner submission application below and finalists will present banner designs to the Alum Rock Village Business Association on June 20th, 2010. Students will also presents to the San Jose Office of Cultural Affairs at City Hall at 5:30pm on Tuesday June 21st at 5:30 pm.
The Hawaii Preparatory students will present in some manner to their school.
